Bulletproof Matcha Latte

This has become my healthy morning boost since I gave up coffee. Matcha gives me sustained energy all along the day, it’s not as acidic as coffee, and is loaded with antioxidants.

Matcha Chai Latte (a strong green tea will work just as nice if you don’t have matcha)

1 teaspoon of organic matcha powder
3/4 cup near boiling water

Mix the powder and the water. You can stop here and just enjoy your matcha tea.

Or, take it to the next level.
Pour the tea mixture in the blender and add:

1/2 cup sweetened nut milk (i use dates to make it super creamy)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla seeds
1 tablespoon of chai spice
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
1 tablespoon of coconut oil

Blend. Adjust for sweetness and spice. I make my own chai spice, but you can just add cinnamon, cardamom, clove and black peppercorns.

I added reishi mushroom powder to mine, for a medicinal boost
