Decadent Gluten/Dairy Free Desserts Class: May 19 at 5:30 pm

Who said you can’t have your cake and eat it too? Being healthy means you don’t always have to skip dessert. Raw vegan desserts are ideal for anyone who loves sweets but is trying to avoid refined carbohydrates and sugars, dairy products, gluten, and unhealthful fats. Any dessert you can make cooked–pies, tarts, crisps, ice creams, cookies, cakes, and candies–you can make raw. Your family and friends will never know these desserts are raw and healthy, since they taste as rich and sweet as their traditional counterparts.

Healthy Kids Class: June 2 at 5:30 pm

One of the most important thing you can do for your kids is to feed them REAL FOOD. I am a firm believer in staying away from packaged cereals, sauces and sweets.This will set the foundation for their future and teach them how to make the right choices when it comes to nutrition. In my experience, feeding our kids a diet of (mostly cooked, some raw) organic veggies, wholesome soaked grains and a few grassfed animal products is the key to a healthy immune system and a happy kid. Raw Food comes in as an additional element with very powerful nutrients, where every bite is loaded with vitamins and minerals.

Many of us have tried a restrictive crash detox diet for a week or two, and once the “diet” ends, most cravings return and the results don’t last for long. We are back at square one. And yet, we all want to make healthier choices that last. A way to do so is by enjoying the abundance of simple clean eating with fun and easy recipes that are practical and delicious.

A raw liquid diet detoxification , or a Raw (mostly) Liquid Detox is a fast and efficient way to clean our body from the inside out . Since smoothies and green juices came on the scene , they have become immensely popular, so popular that they are now used as the best option on a detox diet and weight loss.

In this class, I will teach how to do a one or two day detox at home, to revitalize and loose excess water retention, and also kickstart a long term detox program. You will learn and taste light & cleansing recipes that are low nut, low sugar and following the principles of proper food combining for quick digestion and high absorption of nutrients…an infusion of vitamins and minerals to give your body and skin  a jumpstart for the summer and allow its internal healing mechanism to kick in. A detox & lifestyle change! You will be given a sample 2 day menu. These recipes are part of my exclusive 7 day full body detox, so you can get a glimpse of what this week is like and learn to do some of it at home.
